What we build for
- Every control is reachable and operable with a keyboard; focus is always visible.
- Every page has one main heading, landmarks, and a skip link; navigation and buttons are named in the accessibility tree in every interface language.
- Text and interface colours meet a contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1; nothing is conveyed by colour alone.
- Videos carry English captions and a full text version of the story.
- Layouts work from a 320-pixel-wide phone to a large desktop, and respect the system setting for reduced motion.
What still needs work
Some older pages inside the product have not yet been rebuilt on the shared layout; the read-aloud feature depends on the device's own speech synthesis; and reviewed translations exist for English and Chinese only, with four more languages served but not yet human-reviewed.
